Blogging Agenda

There are great many things to blog. What are my core subjects? Who will I interact with on these subjects?

At the core of my existance now is New Orleans. I need to read/write New Orleans blogs. I need to stay abreast of the happenings in the Times-Picayune. The rest is walking about with my camera, capturing the environment, taking snaps, taking note.

There is my work with Publius. This is probably something I won’t blog as much, unless there is a Publius blog at some point in the near future.

The next most interesting thing I’m doing is probably building a business in New Orleans. There are two that are falling into place. The first is the idea of acting as a social network analyst. The second is simply telephony. It comes together when I’m creating social networking applications in telephony. This is a place where New Orleans may have a cultural advantage.

This means blogging about blogging, or perhaps, blogging about conversation. It makes all this stuff something that I suddenly need to take seriously. A real challenge.

The easiest thing to write about is myself, my life in New Orleans and Ann Arbor, my idea of Living the Long Tail, exploring my Failure Patterns, and probably some more upbeat notions as the year progresses, I settle into my own.

Finally, there’s software. There are still a few software ideas that I find interesting, but this is a part of my life that I see receeding. It is not how I intend to earn money going foward.
