Only one more day until Boxing Day. I’m counting the minutes.
Wal-mart
Andrew Young, Wal-marts image builder lashes out at mom-and-pop stores, “You see those are the people who have been overcharging us, and they sold out and moved to Florida. I think they’ve ripped off our communities enough. First it was Jews, then it was Koreans and now it’s Arabs.” It’s so horrible.

Syndibase Namespaces
Namespaces can be used in tags to create sections. How does one define a namespace?
The punctuation should be permissible in a URL. Thus, I’m thinking along the lines of…
- Skill.Nursing.
- Skill.Carpentry.
This is naive, I know. I like it. The problem becomes when you are using Syndibase for a system and you want a controlled vocabulary. You do not want to miss out on a person because they’ve typed Skill.Nuring.
- If people are selecting from a controlled vocabulary, are they allowed to type in additional names in the namespace?
- If they edit an entry with a controlled vocabulary, how are the items outside of the namespace displayed?
- Who decides what is inside our outside of the controlled vocabulary?
The other common uses of tagging are as follows.
- For:UserName

Not Open Door
Since it’s not so much that you can come and consult with Think New Orleans, rather you are invited to come and work collaboratively with other neighborhoods and nonprofits.
